What is the difference between sateen and percale?
Yarn can be woven into different weave patterns, which results in a different feel, finish and look. Fabrics woven with a 3-under-1-over pattern are called sateen and are generally soft, silky and smooth. Percale is woven with a 1-under-1-over pattern, which results in a matte, crisp and cooling fabric. Learn more about weave patterns here.

Our products are certified by OEKO-TEX® for our use of non-harmful chemicals, we do not artificially treat our sheets with anti-wrinkling chemicals or artificial softeners. We believe 100% Egyptian cotton, kept in its pure and natural state, is perfectly ultra-soft, smooth and luxurious. Due to this, natural cotton fabrics can wrinkle more than artificial wrinkle-resistant sheets. We recommend practicing preventative care to ensure your bedding is wrinkle-free! "On my 2nd set. First ones lasted about 6 years which is amazing for a lighter sheet. They get so buttery with age. I saw some complaints about wrinkling, more than likely youre over drying your sheets. Over drying is hard on cotton. I dry mine to about ~75% and let them finish drying on the mattress with the ceiling fan on and they fit my 18” tall mattress perfectly. I love the extra deep pockets. This set is even better than the last"

"Normally I purchase percale sheets because I sleep hot, but I wanted the matching set to go with my new pure parima Floral Printed Sateen Duvet Cover. These slept surprisingly cool for sateen. My only wish is that Pure Parima also made body pillow covers with a zipper closure that matched the rest of the sheets!"

"It’s been 2 weeks now sleeping on our new Yalda sheet set, and hands down the quality of the sheets is great quality, smooth, soft, and the fit is amazing! Th we se sheets are not like your ordinary sheets where it’s short on the sides which these sheets has a lot of extra length. Since finding Pure Parima we will never go back to any other sheets. Definitely will be replacing our Donna Karen sets with Pure Parima sets!! Thank you guys! Last, since we live in Hawaii shipping was still free with the complete set and the packaging was first class!! Don’t look any where else but here. Price is definitely worth it."
