How to Put on a Duvet Cover

An essential step in making the bed, putting on the duvet cover can be seen as a tedious task when it doesn’t have to be. No matter the size, follow these simple steps to cover your duvet without the stressful hassle successfully.

Step 1: Locate duvet ties.

Choose one side of the duvet cover to start, preferably the short end. Find both duvet ties on that side of the cover and pull them outside of the cover for easy access.

Step 2: Tie around the duvet insert loop.

Tie each of those two corner ties around the corresponding loops on the duvet insert. Leave the tied side alone as you move on to the other end. 

Step 3: Tie the other ends.

Find the opposite two corners and repeat steps 1 and 2 accordingly. 

Step 4: Fluff for even fill.

Now that all four corners are tied onto their proper loops, shake and fluff the entire duvet to provide an even fill and balance it out.

Step 5: Zip it closed.

Now just zip the duvet cover closed and you’re done!
